I was born in Mexico City in 1988 and I discovered my passion for photography at the age of 17 on a trip to Cuba, where I could size the great power of this art, not only to capture an image or a moment, but also to create bridges between cultures, beyond established languages​​. Few years later, my hobby became my profession.

Since then, I have been at the head of Estudio Virro Borja, a professional photography studio specialized in the production of commercial campaigns (photography and videos), as well as food styling (food photography), portraits, architecture and tourism photography.

I am also Director of Photography for the “FoodPorn” area at Camaleon Films (food styling productions) since 2014.

As a fun fact, on May 17, 2014, I took an areal photograph of 3,464 chefs who gathered at the Angel of Independence (Mexico City) and I won a Guinness World Records for it.

In the field of commercial photography, I have been specializing in automotive photography with C.G.I technology (Computer Generated Imagery); my main client being Mercedes-Benz.

During my career, I had the opportunity to be a jury member in several photography contests, as well as exhibit my work in Mexico and abroad, and portray renown personalities such as former Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, business man Carlos Slim Domit, actress Camila Sodi, boxer Saúl Hernández ("El Canelo"), among others.

In parallel, I have been carrying out the photographic direction of several editorial offices, through which I published more than 40 books of art, largely devoted to tourism and gastronomy. Some of these books have been presented to the Royal Family of Spain, Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, and other well-know personalities and media, from Mexico and the world.

Lately, I’ve been promoting my book “X Years Behind The Camera”, which commemorates 10 years of career as a professional photographer and shows my personal work through a massive luxury book.

On the way, I have been creating other companies such as VR by VR (a virtual reality company) and V&L, a creative agency focused on digital strategies.

I am always looking for business opportunities to keep me inspired.

I can’t forget that I have a huge obsession for travels. In addition to traveling all over Mexico, mainly thanks to my work, I have explored Asia, Europe and Cuba several times, Africa and the USA.

Also, I really love flying my drone and some of my areal pictures have been recognized by the best by international media and DJI team itself.
